This technopolymer behaves like a non-Newtonian fluid: it feels soft when it is in relax mode and it gets instantly stiff when its urethan molecules undergo a shock or a high-speed impact. When this happens the molecules "freeze" instantly (as when water becomes ice) forming a protective shell which defends the object from the shock better than any existing material.
In this way it instantly absorbs and dissipates more than 90% of the kinetic energy of the impact. It then instantly “relaxes” again, immediately ready for the next impact. This system doesn't block the laptop, but instead leaves it free inside the case. In the event of an impact it is able to let kinetic energy dissolve progressively, allowing the internal Poron® XRD covering to then absorbe it completely. With this system you can set up ViVAX™ to host any laptop.
